Fix a problem

My changes are not saving#

Flints saves a few seconds after you stop typing. The top bar should show Saved.

If it does not:

1. Check your internet connection.
2. Refresh the page (F5). Your text should still be there.
3. If you are bounced to the login page, your session expired. Log in again and check the note.

A note has disappeared#

• Check the trash first — deleted notes sit there and can be restored.
• It may be inside a folder; expand your folders and look.
• Press Ctrl + K and search by name.

A wikilink is not working#

• Check the note name is spelled exactly right. Capitalisation does not matter, but spelling does.
• Renaming a note rewrites the links pointing at it automatically, so a broken link is almost always a spelling difference.

My code block has no colours#

The language is probably still Plain Text. Click the language name in the top-left corner of the block and pick the right one.

The outline is not showing#

Three possible reasons:

1. The note has no headings yet — the outline is built from headings.
2. The outline button in the top bar is switched off.
3. Your window is too narrow — below 1180 pixels the outline hides itself.

A share link does not open#

• Sharing may have been turned off. Open the note and check Share.
• Make sure the whole link was copied.

An image will not upload#

Supported formats are PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, and SVG. Anything else is rejected.
