Trash

Deleting a note does not remove it straight away — it goes to the trash first.

Opening the trash#

Click your account name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Trash.

Restoring#

Click the restore button beside a note in the trash. It returns to where it was, along with its links and backlinks.

Deleting permanently#

• To remove a single note for good, click the delete button in the trash.
• Empty trash removes everything at once.

A permanently deleted note cannot be recovered. If it matters, export it first.

Folders#

Deleting a folder does not send it to the trash — it is removed immediately. The notes inside survive, though; they simply become unfiled.
