Share folders and maps
Publishing several notes at once — as a folder or as a map.
There are two ways to share more than a single note.
Sharing a folder#
Click the three-dot button on a folder and choose Share.
Whoever opens the link sees a list of every note in that folder and can read each one. Handy for course material, a set of documents, or project notes.
Sharing a map#
- Switch to Map view.
- Click the globe button in the top bar.
- Tick which notes should be visible — all of them, or only a selection.
- Save, and copy the link.
Visitors get the interactive map and can click the dots to read the notes. Only the notes you selected appear.
This suits showing a slice of your knowledge base — everything about one topic, say.
Turning it off#
In both cases, return to the same menu and switch sharing off. The link stops working immediately.
Security#
Share links are long and random, but they are public — anyone who has the link can read. Bear that in mind before sharing anything personal.
